Forces chief gives his take on future capabilities

The Chief of the Defence Staff says he's cautious about jumping to any conclusions about the future of tanks, drones or cyber technology in the wake of the conflict in Ukraine.

Admiral Sir Tony Radakin made the comments as he gave evidence to a Lords Committee, assessing how aspirations made in last year's Integrated Review and Defence Command Paper will become reality.

He also told the committee the UK must look again at the way it stockpiles weapons if it is to prepare for state-on-state conflict.
