Boris Johnson: We stand with Ukraine for the long term

The Prime Minister announced on Twitter that the United Kingdom's commitment to supporting Ukraine is "for the long term".

Boris Johnson said he told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the UK will "continue to provide equipment to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces defend their country".

He added work is also being done to find ways to resume grain exports and "avert a global food crisis".

Mr Zelensky said during the phone call they discussed "strengthening" defence support for Ukraine and "intensifying work on security guarantees".
