Integrated Review: How could the military blueprint change?

Setting out the UK military's plans for the next decade, the Integrated Review was supposed to assess the security challenges facing the UK and how to tackle them best.

Released by then-Prime Minister Boris Johnson in March 2021, it was called the "biggest review of our foreign, defence, security and development policy since the end of the Cold War".

But, with Rishi Sunak now Prime Minister, the military's blueprint is set to change again – with the conflict in Ukraine playing no small part in making the Government rethink its military approach.

But how might the plan change?
