The silent drone 'undeterred by jamming' going to Ukraine

The reconnaissance drones can map large areas of land and are fitted with automatic flight planning, pulse one-button take-off and landing.

A US company is donating 100 reconnaissance drones to help Ukrainian forces in their fight against Russia.

The Quantix Recon drone can scan up to 400 acres of terrain and its makers say when used in a silent mode, it is immune to jamming technology and audibly undetectable at 360ft.

In America, the drone is often used in agriculture to map farmland but that same technology also has military applications, with the drone able to scan areas to spot signs of disturbance, such as troops digging in.
