How this repurposed Western weapon could help Ukraine in its defence

The war in Ukraine has consumed huge quantities of Western weaponry, with many Nato countries reportedly running low on ammunition.

To try to fill the gap, defence manufacturers Boeing and Saab have begun looking at ways of repurposing existing systems, to give Ukraine hybrid precision weapons at a fraction of the cost.

One of them is a new guided artillery system - Forces News technology reporter Simon Newton has been finding out more.
