Two Army Rugby League Players Called Up To England Performance Squad

Gunner Abby Eatock and Sergeant Carrie Roberts could be in contention for a place at next year's World Cup.

Two players from the Army Rugby League women's team have been selected for the England Performance squad.

Gunner Abby Eatock and Sergeant Carrie Roberts were part of the Army's successful Inter Services-winning team in 2019.

Their England selection puts them in contention of appearing at next year's World Cup.

This is Gnr Eatock's first call-up to an England squad after impressing for Super League winners Leeds Rhinos last season.

Meanwhile, Sgt Roberts returns to the international fold after being called up in 2015.

The World Cup is scheduled to take place in England next year.
