The Royal Navy rugby union team have announced their squad for the 2020 Inter Services Championships.
Thirty players have been given the opportunity to make 23-man matchday squads for fixtures against the Royal Air Force and the British Army.
Scott Makepeace has been retained as captain and will play in his fourth successive Inter Services campaign.
The Navy will be without Greg Lloydall through injury, but the uncapped Henry Hughes is expected to step up and fill the gap.
Hughes has played five times at Twickenham University in the Varsity match for Oxford University and was on the winning side four times.
The Royal Marines won this year’s Inverdale Trophy, with a third of the Navy's Inter Services squad being made up of Marines.
The Navy will play their first Inter Services match at Twickenham Stoop on 18 April against the RAF.
Their crunch match at Twickenham Stadium against the Army comes on 2 May.
