The draws for this year's Men's International Defence Rugby Competition (IDRC) have been announced ahead of the event's return after four years.

The UK Armed Forces will play against the military teams of South Africa, Spain and Georgia.

The IDRC, which is due to be staged in France, was last played in 2019 when it was held in Japan.

The 2019 event was won by the Republic of Fiji Military Force having beaten UKAF in the final, and now four-years on, the team from Fiji will enter this year's event as the defending champions.

The Women's IDRC took place last October alongside the Women's Rugby Union World Cup in New Zealand, where the UKAF Women won the Plate tournament

The tournament, which includes 12 military teams from around the world, will take place between 6 August and 11 September.
