Battling the snow: Royal Logistic Corps claim the women's crown on Army Inter Corps finals day

WATCH: Highlights of Royal Logistic Corps' cup final victory.

The Royal Logistic Corps have been crowned champions after they beat the composite side of the Royal Artillery and Army Air Corps to lift the Women's Inter Corps Rugby title.

The cold snap sweeping the country made for challenging playing conditions as the Royal Artillery and Army Air Corps faced the RLC in Aldershot.

Fay Stratford-Dunks was on target from the kicking tee as the young Gunner gave her side a slender lead in a low scoring first half.

But two tries after the break saw the RLC take the title.

First India King powered over from close range to nudge her side in front.

The teams toiled away before midway through the second half, Romereani Saqanavere added a further five points when she was fed the ball and scooted in at the corner for an unconverted effort.

Stratford-Dunks added a second penalty but it wasn't enough with the RLC holding firm to win 10-6.
