
UKAF announce new interim rugby league women's head coach

The UK Armed Forces women's rugby league team have announced their new interim head coach.
Warrant Officer Class 2 Woz Broadley will lead the UKAF team for the 2023 season after leaving his role as head coach of the Army team.
He took over the Army team in 2017 and has led them to five Inter Services titles as well as their first-ever national trophy, the 2019 Challenge Shield.

In 2021, his team won both the Army and UK Armed Forces Team of the Year awards, while in 2022, WO2 Broadley was nominated for Army Official of the Year.
Before his military career, WO2 Broadley played rugby league for East Leeds, Milford and Bramley.
His decision to join the Army led to him playing for the Royal Logistic Corps team who won back-to-back Lawson Cup finals.
