Army retain Inter Services netball title

The British Army have retained their Inter Services netball title after a win against the Royal Navy at HMS Nelson.

The Army's win over the Royal Air Force in game one meant a victory over the Senior Service would seal the championship in the BFBS-sponsored event.

A 46-29 triumph against the Navy means the Army have held on to the trophy since 2017.

This was the first Inter Services netball tournament for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The RAF's campaign resulted in a 48-37 loss to the Army before an exciting 46-46 draw with the Navy.

The master's competition was also won by the Army who made it a treble-winning season thanks to a development title success earlier in the week.
