In the first match, Ireland were in hot scoring form as Millie Cox took the headlines with goal after goal.

The Army had Ellie Nawale finding the net to keep them in the game, but as they headed into the final quarter, Ireland led 26-19.

Cox was proving the difference against the defensive effort of Dee Bolakoro and she finished off the scoring to give the ladies in green a 37-24 victory.

In the second match, it was another close encounter.

However, this time, the Army came out on top with a 33-24 scoreline.
