WATCH: All The Action From Day Three At Meribel 2018

A busy day of action for the third day at Meribel...

A busy day of action began with clouds covering Meribel and the Super Giant Slalom, which made for some exciting racing.

In the women’s, Corporal Rachel Hughes of the RAF came out ahead of two army athletes.

The race was part one of a combined event of which the slalom formed the second part.

The race has a rolling podium, meaning that racers come down the mountain and take their spot hoping not to get knocked off.

Luckily for her, Rachel won again and therefore took the overall title and ended the race on top.

"It's quite intense to go from a speed event to about 60 turns down a course- when we'd normally have six!"

Sapper Euan Kick took the Super G title after missing out on the downhill yesterday, but a mistake in the slalom meant the door was opened for Sapper Duncan Kuvall to take the gold.

"It brings more excitement and energy to the race- you're trying to beat other people rather than rage against the clock."

And It was a familiar story in the telemark with James French storming to victory once again against his old rival Robbie Houston.

Check back tomorrow for more of Meribel's action...
