Meribel 2022: RAF and Royal Navy win gold in high-speed Alpine Ski Slalom runs

The RAF's Corporal Rachel Hughes won the women's event while, in the men's event, the Navy's Able Seaman Graeme Price clinched gold.

The Alpine Ski Slalom events excited the crowds at Meribel 2022 with two quick-fire courses testing the competitors.

The Navy's Able Seaman Graeme Price has only been in the military for a year and was making his Inter Services debut at Meribel.

He won the men's race to make an impressive start with a winning margin of four seconds.

AB Price spent two years with the GB team prior to joining the military and also won the Super Combined event earlier in the week.

In the women's race, Corporal Rachel Hughes from the Air Force also completed a Super Combined and Alpine Ski Slalom double.

Her RAF colleague Senior Aircraftwoman Winks Baxter finished in second with Colour Sergeant Lou Dodd, from the Army, in third.
