'It's just fantastic': RAF judo legend on military involvement at Commonwealth Games
Former RAF judo star Squadron Leader Sami Smithson may be working for Team England at the 2022 Commonwealth Games but she's keeping a very close eye on the military athletes competing.
Corporal Sarah Hawkes is representing Northern Ireland while Lance Corporal Victor Ahiavor will be in competition for Ghana.
The Army athletes were supposed to be joined by Royal Marine Chris Sherrington but he pulled out of the Scotland team due to injury.

"To have two military personnel here today competing for their home nations is just fantastic," said Sqn Ldr Smithson.
"I'm absolutely devastated that we're not seeing Chris.
"Chris Sherrington should be here – our favourite Royal Marine!
"[He] would have been defending his Commonwealth Games championship. I'm really disappointed not to see him and we wish you well Chris.
"I hope your recovery is swift."
