Actor and Invictus Games ambassador Mike Myers has praised the work of the competition, and spoken about military careers of both his parents in the British Armed Forces.

His mother served in the Royal Air Force, while his father served in the British Army, with the Royal Engineers, both during the Second World War.

"My father and mother spoke of the unbreakable brotherhood of those who serve.

"Those who serve our country deserve our upmost respect, and all the competitors at the Invictus Games have my deepest respect, admiration and gratitude.

"From the bottom of my heart, I do thank you."

Mike Myers was joined by a panel of competitors, and The Invictus Games CEO, Michael Burns.
