RAF win men's and women's Outdoor Hockey Inter Services titles

RAF Hockey are celebrating after winning both the men's and women's titles at the Outdoor Hockey Inter Services championships after playing two matches against the Army and the Navy in one day. 

The Senior women's final match between the RAF and the Army ended as a 0-0 draw, with the RAF having beaten the Navy 5-0 earlier in the day,

They won the title on goal difference, after the Army had won 3-0 against the Senior Service the previous day.

The RAF senior men claimed a record-equalling sixth successive title, and followed up their 3-1 win over the Army with a similar result against the Navy.

Elsewhere in the tournament, the RAF claimed the Under 25 title, while both masters men's and women's champions are the Army.

The Inter Services indoor championships will follow in Aldershot in November.
