The Royal Navy women played Middlesex FA in the Southern Counties Cup at HMS Temeraire in Portsmouth, where the Navy faced strong opposition from the visitors.

The Navy gave it everything they had to close in on Middlesex's huge lead, but Middlesex's organised defence proved to be a challenge for the blues.
At the final whistle, Middlesex proved to be a strong and formiddible team with a 1-5 victory against a respectable Navy team, who named Ciara Boylan as their Player of the Match.
The Navy begin their build-up to the Inter Services in March where they will face the Army and defending champions the RAF.
