Late drama as UKAF footballers defeat Irish Defence Forces

The UK Armed Forces (UKAF) football team has reclaimed the Perpetual Friendship Trophy with a dramatic 2-1 victory over the Irish Defence Forces in Dublin.

UKAF's winning goal came in the fourth minute of stoppage time, just two minutes after the hosts had scored their equaliser.

The Irish Defence Forces won last year's fixture on penalties, but UKAF's late winner this time around meant they sealed the 2022 trophy.
