6 SCOTS dethrone 4 LANCS in Army reserve cup final

A 3-1 win in Aldershot put an end to 6 SCOTS' losing streak in finals.

6 SCOTS have won the 2022 Army Reserve Challenge Cup final in Aldershot.

The Glasgow-based team beat reigning champions 4 LANCS 3-1 at the Military Stadium.

Goals from Ryan Campbell and a Daniel McInnes double sealed the win despite a goalkeeping error in the first half.

This was the third successive final featuring 4 LANCS while 6 SCOTS have lost in their last two final appearances.

With the win, they've now qualified for the Army Super Cup later this summer where they will face Major Units cup winners 4 Regiment RLC.
