Hitting their stride: Riders compete for UKAF equestrian championships

Almost 300 riders have been competing for honours at the 2022 UKAF equestrian championships in Bedfordshire.

The tournament returned to Bury Farm Equestrian Village for the second year in a row with riders competing in disciplines such as dressage and showjumping.

The event was seen as a chance for competitors to prove their ability ahead of qualifiers for the Forces final at the London International Horse Show.

The Navy retained their dressage title despite a tough challenge from the Army and the RAF.

Victoria Sollitt's performance took her to the individual title and helped the Navy keep their team trophy.
