Challenge Cup First Round Draw: Navy At Home With Army And RAF Both Away

First round matches are scheduled for the last weekend of January.

The UK's military service sides have been drawn against their opponents in the first round of the 2019 Challenge Cup.

The Royal Navy will be at home to National Conference League Premier Division West Hull ARLFC, who won the British Amateur Rugby League Association Cup this year.

The Army and Royal Air Force have both been given away ties, and will face Bentley ARLFC and North Herts Crusaders RLFC respectively.

In last season's Challenge Cup, the Army went the furthest out of the tri-service teams, being knocked out in the third round by Kells ARLFC of the National Conference League after a 30-4 defeat in Cumbria.

The Royal Air Force was knocked out in round two by Batley Boys after losing 13-12, while the Royal Navy was defeated 12-11 by Normanton Knights in the first round.

All first round matches are scheduled for January 26 and 27.
