There was success for two Army female competitors on finals day at the 2022 National Development Boxing Championships.
In the under 57kg final, Niamh Brookes beat Imogen Street when the referee stopped the contest due to an injury giving Brookes the title.
Moments later, Chelsea Tiller followed suit in the under 70kg category beating Catherine Constable by knockout.

It was not a triple military success though as the Navy’s Lucas France lost in the men's under 71kg final by a split decision against Dominic Mendy.
There were also six bronze medals won by Army competitors during the event.
