RAF Brize Norton athletes dominate Air Force's Cross Country Championships
Athletes from RAF Brize Norton have dominated the races at the service's first cross country championships in two years.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year's event was cancelled but the runners have returned to action at RAF Halton.
Competitors from Brize Norton won both the men's and women's senior races, the men's junior race and the team award.
The men's senior race was won by Flying Officer Michael Kallenberg with RAF Odiham's Rob Wood finishing as runner-up.
In the women's senior race, Senior Aircraftwoman Chloe Richardson was victorious fighting off the challenge from RAF Wittering's Sergeant Chloe Finlay and RAF Waddington's Corporal Helena Scofield.
The junior races saw Tom Flavre from RAF Brize Norton and Florence Seaton from RAF Cosford take the victories.
