Army shooter selected to compete at European Games

Army shooter Sergeant Sam Gowin has been selected to represent Team GB at the third European Games in Poland this summer.
The Royal Artillery sergeant will travel to Krakow as part of a 15-strong shooting squad where he will compete in the pistol events.
This will be Sgt Gowin's second European Games after he competed at the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Belarus.
Sgt Gowin won a bronze medal for England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
Team GB has selected a total of 178 athletes to compete at the European Games across 18 Olympic disciplines where qualifications for next year's Olympic Games in Paris are up for grabs in many sports, including shooting.
The third European Games will take place in Krakow from 21 June to 2 July.
