Two leading Army rugby union players will have the chance to represent Wales at the Rugby Europe Sevens Championship Series opener in Portugal this weekend.
Bombardier Bethan Dainton and Staff Sergeant Jade Mullen have been included in the squad for matches against Poland and Belgium in Lisbon.
Both players have represented Premier 15s champions Harlequins this season with Dainton also playing for Wales in the Women's Six Nations Championship.
The first leg of the Women's Championship, formerly known as the Grand Prix, will feature nine teams from across the continent with Wales featuring in Pool B alongside Poland and Belgium.
The tournament could also offer Wales a route to qualification for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Wales will kick off against Poland at 10:22 BST on Saturday before playing Belgium later in the day at 12:22 BST.
The second-leg of the tournament takes place in Moscow, Russia, later this month.
The Army Rugby Union team congratulated the military pair on their call-ups on Twitter.
