The Great Britain Bobsleigh Team were in action at the latest round of the IBSF Bobsleigh World Cup in Altenberg, Germany.

Racing for the team was the Army’s Nick Gleeson who competed in both the four-man and two-man events.

3 Para Private Gleeson was joined by Brad Hall, Alan Toward and Ben Simons in the four-man race, where they finished in 13th place.

The result meant a 1.88-second difference from the winners, which came from the host nation Germany team.

This was an improvement during the last round which was held in Winterberg in December.

In that race, the team finished in 15th place behind the German winners.

Pte Gleeson was also involved in the two-man event where he was lined up alongside Brad Hall once again.

In this race, the two men finished in 15th place just 0.01 seconds behind the Canadian team in the position above.

Their score of 1:53.64 wasn’t enough to catch the German winners who finished 1.45 seconds before the British athletes.
