A Look Back: Remembering The Battle Of Britain's 'Hardest Day'

Take a look back with Forces TV at the events marking the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain's "Hardest Day".

18 Spitfires and six Hurricanes took part in a re-enactment of the fighting which took place on that day, when Bromley's Biggin Hill and other military bases in the South East came under attack from the German Luftwaffe.

It saw both sides record their greatest loss of aircraft during the Battle.

The special commemoration honoured all the pilots, engineers, operations staff, ground crews and other military personnel who faced attack that day.
