The Last Man To Leave The Beach At Gallipoli

This week marks the 100th anniversary of the ill-fated landings at Gallipoli in Turkey.  
 
The strategy was intended to allow Allied ships to pass through the Dardanelles channel to capture Istanbul and ultimately knock Turkey out of the First World War. 
 
Forces TV went to meet Helen Bowcock, whose grandfather was involved in the evacuation from Gallipoli, and may have been the last man to leave the beaches.
