Forces TV Meets Author of 'Gallipoli'

The Gallipoli Campaign of 1915 involved an ambitious plan by Allied forces to open a way for the Imperial Fleet to reach Constantinople - now Istanbul - and push the Ottoman Empire out of the war.

But it turned into a disaster, with Austrlian and New Zealand soldiers paying a heavy price - and a new book is now bringing the campaign to life.

Australian journalist Peter FitzSimons, who wrote 'Gallipoli', came into the Forces TV studio to talk about his work on the subject.
