We take to the skies at the sharp end of Britain's war on the Islamic State terror network as Forces TV is given unique access to the crews and aircraft behind every air strike.

The Royal Air Force has been flying missions from Cyprus for 60 years, from Suez in the 1950s to the Gulf War.

Simon Newton has been allowed special access to Operation Shader, both on the ground and in the skies, at RAF Akrotiri.
