A new photographic exhibition is shining a light on a much forgotten British campaign from the Second World War.

"Burma Veterans: Unforgettable" has now opened at the Army and Navy club in London.

British forces that fought in Burma are known as the 'Forgotten Army' because operations were often overlooked by the press and remained more obscure than those involved in the Europe for long after the war.

Now aged between 89 and 105 years old, the portraits shown in the exhibition, along with images of wartime memorabilia, pay tribute to these veterans.
