The Battle Of Hastings Relived - 950 Years On

1066. Famously, that was the year of the Battle of Hastings - but it's also the number of re-enactors who recreated it over the weekend.
 
Divided into Norman French and Anglo-Saxon English camps on the downslope of Senlac Hill, at Battle, near Hastings, the stage was set for an epic struggle.
 
Forces TV was there and witnessed the best of the battle scenes.
 
There was also an opportunity to speak to some on the Anglo-Saxon side, including King Harold himself...
