Head of RAF formally signs King's Regulations

The head of the Royal Air Force has formally signed The King's Regulations.
Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sir Mike Wigston called the formal signing ceremony a "privilege".
The King's Regulations are the code of conduct for members of the Armed Forces that deal with discipline and aspects of military law.
ACM Sir Mike said in an RAF post on Twitter: "It was a privilege to sign the new Royal Air Force King's Regulations.
"It was a great personal honour to mark the accession of HM King Charles III, Marshal of the RAF."
The King's Regulations were first published in 1731 and were known as the Queen's Regulations during the reigns of Queen Victoria and the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The King's Regulations, a collection of orders and regulations in force in the Royal Navy, British Army and RAF to provide guidance to officers of the three armed services, have been published to mark the accession of King Charles III following the death of the Queen in September 2022.
Air Chief Marshal Wigston took over as the head of the RAF in July 2019 and confirmed last year that he is set to stay in his role until the summer of 2023.
The extension to his time in the job was made when Admiral Sir Tony Radakin was appointed the new Chief of Defence Staff.
