A distinguished group of military veterans are celebrating a special anniversary this year. 
 
The 'Guinea Pig Club' was founded 75 years ago to treat Second World War airmen left disfigured and scarred after being shot down.
 
With plastic surgery in its infancy, they became the test subjects for the developing field of reconstructive surgery.
 
Forces Network's Rosie Laydon has been to visit the hospital where it all began.
