More accustomed to the waters of the South West coast, the Royal Marines of 539 Assault Squadron have been making for an unusual sight in the Great Glen.

They've been moving their hovercraft and offshore raiding craft through the picturesque village of Fort Augustus, Loch Ness.

It's one of 29 locks the vessels need to get through before reaching their destination - Fort William.
