Lieutenant Colonel Sir Morgan Crofton led the 'Dad's Army' of the New Forest during the Second World War.
As a veteran of two previous wars he kept scrapbooks during his service that documented his life.
The scrapbooks were filled with secret documents, photographs and meticulously detailed maps giving a sense of what the Home Guard was really like.
The scrapbooks now belong to his son, Major Edward Crofton. In this interview with our Reporter Hannah Gurney he talks about the books and his Father.
