The Ministry of Defence has released a number of eye-catching photographs capturing British Army soldiers on exercise in Estonia.

UK personnel are currently deployed on operations supporting NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP), with forces in Estonia and Poland.

Around 800 military personnel are working alongside and supporting Danish, US, Croatian and Romanian military forces as well as those of Poland and Estonia.

The Royal Welsh is the lead Battlegroup (BG) element based in Tapa, Estonia, with the training designed to reassure NATO allies and deter adversaries.

Supporting the BG are the Kings Royal Hussars, 19th Regiment Royal Artillery and elements from the Royal Military Police, Intelligence Corps, Royal Signals and Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers and Royal Logistics Corps.

Winter Camp is a multi-national, UK/Estonian-led exercise that tests military skills and equipment in a cold-weather environment, whilst enhancing the interoperability between NATO nations.
