Her Majesty The Queen, together with His Royal Highness The Duke of York, patron of our parent charity Services Sound and Vision Corporation (SSVC), has given our cameras special access to Buckingham Palace to see the inner workings of her household.

It began with a special programme on BFBS Radio, and tonight at 7pm we'll have a special edition of British Forces News, filmed entirely in and around the palace.

One of the incredible moments captured on camera is an audience with the Queen as two Army officers meet Her Majesty for a personal chat.

Brigadier James Swift, Colonel of the Royal Welsh, spoke to The Queen, along with his outgoing colleague Brigadier Philip Napier. Brigadier Swift said:
"It is a real honour to be presented to Her Majesty and not something that comes round very often or for very many people, so one is inevitably a little bit nervous".
