All you need to know about Russia's newest 'suicide drone'

The Lancet-3 is one of Russia's newest so-called 'suicide drones' developed by ZALA Aero Group for the Russian Armed Forces.

According to the manufacturer, the drone can jam laser weapons, making it resistant to anti-drone defence systems.

Artificial intelligence allows for the drone to be operated autonomously.

The drone was first unveiled at a military expo in Moscow in 2019 and is currently being used by the Russian forces in southern and eastern Ukraine.
