Personnel on HMS Queen Elizabeth have carried out a 96-gun salute to mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The military led commemorations with 96-gun salutes all over the UK and abroad on Friday.

One round was fired every 10 seconds, with 96 rounds representing one round for every year of the Queen's life.
