The Princess of Wales will be in attendance for England's men's and women'’s clashes at the Rugby League World Cup on Saturday.

Kate is the patron of the Rugby Football League and will watch the women's squad clash with Canada before the men's team take on Papua New Guinea at the DW Stadium in Wigan.

That means the Princess of Wales could watch an Army soldier in action if Staff Sergeant Carrie Roberts is picked for England against Canada.

SSgt Roberts recently told Forces News that she's feeling good about England's chances in the tournament.

She said: "We are ready for any team that we come and face and I am fully confident that the girls will get the job done."
