The Red Arrows have brought the team's 2022 display season and five-week tour of the Gulf region and Egypt to a close.

But not before they could capture a stunning image and "demonstration of teamwork" over the Giza Pyramids, taken by photographer AS1 Abigail Drewett.

The displays have been part of the team's tour of the Gulf region and Egypt which is aimed at supporting and promoting a range of UK interests.

The Red Arrows arrived in Bahrain at the start of the month for their multi-stop tour of the Gulf region.

They also joined Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF) and RAF Typhoon jets for a flypast over spectators and senior representatives from both air forces gathered in Doha's harbour, in Qatar, ahead of the World Cup.

Last month, the Red Arrows performed a flypast in Bahrain to conclude the 18th edition of the Manama Dialogue – a forum for global representatives to promote peace and security in the Gulf.

Earlier in the same month, the Royal Air Force aerobatic team wowed crowds in the United Arab Emirates as they performed in Abu Dhabi.
