Red Arrows Wish Adorable Young Fan Happy Birthday

The Royal Air Force aerobatic team have wished one of their youngest fans Happy Birthday

By now the Red Arrows would be well into their flying season, displaying at airshows across the country. However, due to COVID-19 airshows have been cancelled in order to keep the public safe.

One of their young fans, Alice Hay, was extremely excited to see them fly and hopefully meet the team but, unfortunately, this hasn't been possible.

However, with the help of BFBS, Flight Lieutenant David Simmonds, AKA Red 5 from the Red Arrows, surprised Alice with a special video message for her birthday on May 19:

"We're sorry we haven't been able to display to you so far this season, we hope to be back next season to display in front of the crowds and say hello to you.

"Many happy returns, Alice, from all of us here at the Red Arrows."

Alice, who turned six-years-old, adores the Red Arrows, so much so she refers to them as “her planes." Alice got her love for the RAF's aerobatics display team from watching them fly with her dad and younger sister.

The young super-fan couldn't wait to say thank you to the Red Arrows and so has filmed her own video for them ...
