Teenage rock sensation Declan McKenna is fast becoming one of the most sought-after live performers in the music business.
Many artists are often credited with the tag 'singer-songwriter' but 18-year-old McKenna does in fact write his own songs and performs all his own instruments.
Declan has released six singles from his debut album What Do You Think About The Car? including Humongous.
The Brazil singer has started his world tour which will see him perform in the Netherlands, Canada, the US, Japan, France and of course the UK.
The tour will include performances at big festivals including Lollapalooza in the US, Summer Sonic in Japan and Cabaret Vert in France.
Declan was just 15-years-old when he released his first single Brazil. Jon Lyons of thisnewband.com called "Brazil" "a catchy song no doubt", and that it was "a sharp critique on sports, money and power."
The Hertfordshire-born boy won Glastonbury Festival's Emerging Talent Competition in 2015 when he was only 15. For this triumph he was awarded £5,000 prize money.
BFBS Drivetime host Hal Stewart wanted to find out what Declan did with that cash so the pair sat down for a very funny chat.
Declan's debut album What Do You Think About The Car? is released on 21st July.
