HMS Ledbury Crew supporting England

Saturday’s quarter-final win against Sweden was celebrated globally by servicemen and women who've been sharing their reactions to the Three Lions' victory.

Videos and images have been taken by those deployed as far afield as the Falkland Islands and Iraq.

In the Falkland Islands, 'Green Watch' showed their support in the 90th minute of the match, and personnel also watched England's winning performance from the Rose Bar, Stanley, Falkland Islands.

As the whole country looks forward to tonight’s showdown against Croatia in Moscow, the crew of the British minesweeper HMS Ledbury will be able to watch the match live on BFBS TV while the ship is patrolling in the Gulf.

Commanding Officer Lieutenant Commander Charles Collins said:

"We may be a long way from home but we can feel the excitement on board just as much as the England fans in the pubs and the parks."
