The soulful, powerful voice of Albin Lee Meldau has taken Europe by storm over the last year.
Albin is the son of a Swedish jazz singer mother and a British punk rocker father but his rise in the world of music didn’t come easy.
"I’m not here to look good, I’m here to tell you a story."
The 30-year-old spent years as a wedding singer and busking on the streets before his debut EP “Lovers” left the right impression.
Since then Albin has gone on to have more than 25 million Spotify streams, a 2017 Grammis Award (Swedish Grammy) and worldwide festival appearances to his name.
This is just the start of Albin's musical journey and Danny Parkinson delves into what makes him tick, his musical influences and the exciting future ahead for the Swede.
"I went to Asia, came back and I was on the front cover of Spotify."
