Singer-songwriter Joe McElderry, 26, found fame when he won The X-Factor in 2009. Not content with that Joe went on to release five top 20 albums, was crowned the winner of the second series of Popstar to Operastar in 2011 and the first series of The Jump in 2014, fair to say he has achieved a great deal for one so young.

The South-Shields native joined Hal Stewart and Jay James on the Big Friday Show to talk about how 2017 is treating him so far and what he's currently up to.

Joe's recent schedule will amaze you. It may sound a silly question but consider this... is Joe the busiest boy in showbiz?

In this interview you'll hear Joe talk about how he feels 'blessed' with all he has been fortunate to do over the past eight years, chat about his new album and he even plays the game 'Hitterati'.

If you have no idea what this game is about then wait no longer and have a listen.
