The Royal Navy fleet flagship returned from the Carrier Strike Group 21 (CSG21) mission, her maiden deployment, in December.

CSG21 saw HMS Queen Elizabeth sail 49,000 nautical miles, travelling to the Indo-Pacific region and back, alongside the Royal Navy's HMS Diamond, HMS Destroyer, HMS Richmond and HMS Kent.

Eight other ships and a submarine made up the strike group – including Dutch frigate HNLMS Evertsen and US destroyer USS The Sullivans.

In February, HMS Queen Elizabeth held her first on-board boxing show with Forces competitors.
