Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stops off for a Naafi break

The Naafi Café at Catterick Garrison hosted a special visitor when the Prime Minister dropped in for a cup of tea and a chat.
Rishi Sunak spent time talking to veterans and their families during his visit to the Naafi (Navy, Army, and Air Force Institutes) at the North Yorkshire-based camp – the largest garrison in the British Army – located south of Richmond.
During his conversations with veterans, Mr Sunak asked about the support they were receiving from the e50K charity organisation which works with former soldiers transitioning into civilian life.
The Prime Minister was pictured chatting and laughing with members of the public, customers, and members of staff during his visit and he also spoke with veterans from the Official Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club.

The first UK high street Naafi café was opened at Catterick Garrison in March.
For more than 100 years, the non-profit organisation has helped members of the British Armed Forces and their families, providing them with goods and services behind the scenes.
Catterick Garrison is in the Prime Minister's constituency of Richmond (Yorks).
